Replacement Grant

The Social Sciences Division Board has decided to initiate a division-wide open round of replacement subsidies, from which in principle ten subsidies will be made available each year. This arrangement, for the time being, applies to two subsidy rounds. This subsidy form offers professors and senior lecturers in the social and behavioural sciences, who are affiliated with an NWO-recognised research institute, the opportunity in 2007 and/or 2008 to be discharged of their teaching obligations (replacement part) in order to do scientific research which is in its final phase. The final product may be a series of journal articles or a published book.
