Dynamics of Patterns

Line of action : Consolidating strengths
Secretariat : EW
Participants : N, FOM
Apply : No, a new round is (still) uncertain

Objective

The programme strives to bring together, in an interdisciplinary setting, researchers from various scientific disciplines focused of studying and analysing intrinsically non-linear patterns in space and time. The aim of the programme is to promote research and collaborative ventures in this area by allocating research funds, organising meetings, and promoting the exchange of information and foreign visits. The programme will actively promote the particular research area in the universities and institutes as well as in a European context. The research programme Dynamics of Patterns (DoP) is an initiative of the FOM Foundation (the Council Board of the Division for Physics) and the Council Board of the Division for Physical Sciences of NWO.
