Organisation MaGW

The Division for the Social Sciences (MaGW) is one of NWO's eight scientific divisions. MaGW focuses on obtaining new knowledge and insights in a field of activity that covers four principle groups of disciplines. 

MaGW is under the leadership of a divisional board, consisting of a chair, a vice chair and six other members. Divisional board members are appointed by the Governing Board of NWO at the recommendation of the divisional board for a period of 3 years, with the option for reappointment for a further period of 3 years.
