At the national seminar held on 12 June 2007, researchers, directors of research institutes, programme managers and policy makers debated how to measure and reveal the social impact and relevance of scientific research.

During this seminar, Prof. Henriėtte Maassen van den Brink - professor of Economics Universiteit van Amsterdam, president Consultative Committee of Sector Councils for Research and Development and president ERiC, presented the second edition of Evaluating Research in Context and the guide Revealing the social impact of knowledge to Dr Jeroen Bartelse, deputy director OWB (Research and Science Policy) at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
