Investment Subsidy NWO Medium

Aim of the Investment Subsidy NWO Medium is to stimulate investments in scientifically innovational apparatus or data collections of national and international importance.

Who can apply

The following knowledge institutions may submit proposals:

• a. Dutch universities;
• b. NWO institutes (incl. the Dutch-Belgian Beamline at ESRF in Grenoble);
• c. academic libraries;
• d. Netherlands Cancer Institute;
• e. Max Planck Institute for psycholinguistics in Nijmegen.

Due to the agreements between NWO and KNAW, the KNAW institutes may not submit proposals for Investment Subsidy NWO Medium.

What can be applied for

Investment Subsidy NWO Medium aims at purchasing apparatus and setting up, connect and enhance data collections.

Applications should range from 110,000 to 1,500,000 euro.

The council for Physical Sciences promotes and initiates high-quality pioneering research in the following disciplines: Astronomy, Computer Science and Mathematics. (For the Physics and the Technical Sciences Divisions please consult page 7 of the programme brochure.)
