Second subsidy round (2010)
In October 2010 the steering group made a decision on the final assessment of the applications in the first round. The following seven applications have been awarded funding. The projects started in Spring 2011*:

- Dr N.P. Louwaars: Intellectual Property Regimes for Pro-Poor Innovation in Agriculture
- Prof. S.R.M. Miller: Military Human Enhancement: Design for Responsibility and Combat Systems
- Dr H.A. Romijn: Biofuels: Sustainable Innovation or Gold Rush?
- Dr N.A. Vincent: Enhancing Responsibility: the effects of cognitive enhancement on moral and legal responsibility
- Dr M.Z. Zwarteveen: DRiP: Drip irrigation Realities in Perspective

- Dr J. van Wijk: Exploring the Void: Institutional Entrepreneurship in Nature-based Tourism in Eastern Africa
